Website Builder: Available Blocks
HitMe Website Builder includes ready-made blocks designed for quick website development. These blocks are organized into multiple categories, and the structured layout helps streamline the website development process by allowing you to quickly find the right blocks you need. The number of available categories may vary depending on the user package. For example, if your package includes the eCommerce module and it is active, you will have access to an additional category that allows you to display a product list on your page.
To learn more about the HitMe Builder's structure and how to create and manage sections, check out the Website Structure article.
Most categories include content that can be adapted to your needs. However, some categories should be used according to their intended purpose.
Navigation and Shop Navigation Categories
These categories include ready-made blocks for adding menu elements to your website. The Shop Navigation category is optional and available only to users with the active eCommerce module. Blocks from these categories should generally be added to the header section to ensure the menu appears on every page. The menu can be customized using our Menu Creator, which simplifies the process of creating a unique structure and modifying menu elements. More information on the Menu Creator can be found in our how-to guide on creating menus.
The Shop Navigation menu is a specialized section that includes both menu items and eCommerce elements, such as the shopping basket and product search form. The search form allows users to dynamically search for products and displays results that match the search query.
Content Elements
HitMe Website Builder offers a variety of categories to help create a unique design for each page. These organized sections enable you to build distinctive content and easily adjust it to your needs. These sections can be freely customized to design pages according to your preferences.
Modals - Cookies, Popups and Alerts
The Modals and Alerts categories are specific and include elements that appear in front of the page content. These elements may display after a time delay and require user interaction, such as closing a window or accepting/declining cookie policies. Modals can be used freely according to your needs, but it's important to understand how they should be applied.
You can choose whether a modal will appear globally across the entire website or only on a specific page. To display a modal on a specific page, include it within the page's content rather than in the footer. This ensures that the modal only appears on that page. If you want the modal to appear globally, the best approach is to add it to the footer section. This ensures that the modal will display on every page and adheres to best website practices.
Footers
The Footers category includes elements that should be placed at the bottom of your pages. Since these elements contain the
tag, using them at the bottom of the page improves website performance. Maintaining the proper structure of your website's code will not only enhance its quality but also help improve its search engine ranking.
Blog Sections
This category includes elements designed for displaying blog posts on your website. Each section can be customized to show posts based on specific criteria, such as post categories or publication dates. You can easily adjust the content to meet your needs and present it in a way that best suits your website’s design.
For more information on how to customize blog sections, please refer to the article How to Display Blog Posts.
Product List Sections
This category is available exclusively to users with an active eCommerce module. It contains sections that allow you to display a list of products on your webpage. The product list can be customized to fit your needs, such as by selecting specific product categories.
